The Swiss Database of Climate Change Impacts
SWIDCHI is an online database of scientific publications on present and future impacts of climate change in Switzerland.
It was created by the Laboratory of Urban and Environmental Economics (LEURE) at EPFL, with support by the Swiss National Center of Competence in Research on Climate (NCCR Climate), financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), and the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).
Each record in SWIDCHI is a scientific publication, clearly referenced, with searchable fields and abstract, a link to the full text and often a downloadable pdf.
Records can be found by title, author and publication year, but also using fields such as type of natural hazard, sector and region affected, climate scenario used and whether there is an economic evaluation of impacts. There are currently over 300 entries.
Users are invited to register and then contribute to the database.
Currently SWIDCHI Database has 352 references records concerning reports on Switzerland and Northern Europe geographical areas.
